1. Duration of House sitting
a. The booking can start from 9am and finish no later than 6pm.

 

2. Responsibilities
a. The house sitter agrees to perform the following responsibilities:
i. Care for and attend to the needs of pets including feeding and regular exercise
ii. Collating mail and ensuring the security of the property
iii. Any additional responsibilities as discussed and agreed upon

 

3. Communication
a. The homeowner and house sitter to exchange contact details and agree on the frequency and method of
updates.

 

4. Emergency Contacts
a. The homeowner to share emergency contacts such as local authorities, veterinary services and a reachable
family or friend.

 

5. Property Use
a. The house sitter agrees to use the property solely for the purpose of house sitting and will not invite additional guests without explicit permission from the homeowner.

 

6. Maintenance & Repairs
a. The house sitter is responsible for informing the homeowner promptly of any maintenance or repair issues that arise during the house sitting period.

 

7. Termination
a. Either party has the right to terminate this agreement with reasonable notice. The reasons for termination should be communicated promptly and respectfully.

 

8. Liability
a. Both parties should discuss and agree upon liability in case of accidents, damages or unforeseen events. The house sitter is insured with Cliverton (Policy number LASX53PM01/WEB) for
i. Dog Walking
ii. Dog, cat, small animal pet minding
iii. Boarding in insured’s own home and house sitting
iv. Pet taxi (excluding human passengers)

 

9. Cleanliness
a. The house sitter agrees to maintain a clean and tidy living space and will return the property in the same condition as received.

 

10. Confidentiality
a. The house sitter agrees to respect the privacy of the homeowner and not disclose any sensitive information
to third parties.

 

A basic DBS has been carried out on the house sitter which can be produced as requested.
